About this site: Endocrine Web describes itself as the largest web site devoted to thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and pancreas disorders. And one look shows why. The thyroid section alone contains 100 pages of information on types of disorders, tests, and treatment options, as well as links to chat rooms and support groups. (http://www.endocrineweb.com/) Pluses: Special sections devoted to diabetes and osteoporosis. Minuses: The doctor search does not deliver results for all states. Best feature: Thyroid Cancer offers more than 30 pages of detailed information on the disease. |
